What the heat pump fan does is take in the ambient air and sends it over the evaporator coil of the air pump. This pump features an advanced liquid refrigerant which is turned into a gas which is compressed to increase the heat.
The built-in heat exchanger which transfers the heat from the hot gas which then heats up the hot tub or swim spa’s water. The gas is returned via a compressor valve back to its original liquid state and the process starts over. It’s overall efficiency can save up to 65% of your spa water heating costs.
